Four Injured in a Car Accident at the Intersection of GA 365 and GA 384/Duncan Bridge Road in Baldwin, Georgia

BALDWIN, GEORGIA - An auto accident article published on reports that four people were transported to the hospital after a serious accident in Alto, Georgia.*

According to Georgia State Patrol troopers, the motor vehicle accident happened at around 5 PM at the intersection of GA 365 and GA 384 in Baldwin, Georgia. The Georgia State Patrol reported that a 45-year-old woman from Gretna, Louisiana, was operating a Toyota Corolla southboung along GA 365. The Gretna woman tried to make a left turn onto Duncan Bridge Road (GA 384), but she pulled out into the path of the oncoming Chevrolet Malibu. The driver of the Chevy Malibu was driven by a 67-year-old woman from Cornelia, Georgia. 

After the Malibu allegedly hit the Corolla and injuring the two drivers and two other occupants riding in the Malibu. The injured passengers were identified as a 75-year-old man from Cornelia, and a 32-year-old woman from Toccoa. 

The Habersham County EMS brought the accident victims to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia, for medical treatment of accident-related injuries. The Georgia State Patrol troopers ticketed the driver for failing to yield to oncoming traffic. This motor vehicle accident investigation is ongoing and the news reporters will update their news story as additional information is received. 

Georgia State Patrol will continue its investigation of the motor vehicle accident investigation and provide a final report. The area around the crash was shut down for while the Habersham County EMS and the Georgia State Patrol managed the accident scene and assisted the injury victims. No additional information about the accident have been released at this time. All eyewitnesses who observed the accident are encouraged to contact the Georgia Satte Patrol and provide any helpful information. No other criminal charges were been reported at this time.
