LeFlore County Traffic Accident on US Highway 259 Tragically Kills Three Children

LEFLORE COUNTY, OKLAHOMA - A tragic, fatal traffic accident news report published on fox23.com states that three children were killed in a motor vehicle accident in LeFlore County.*

The crash also severely injured two adults, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. An accident report issued by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol states that the severe traffic accident occurred at around 9:30 AM along US Highway 259 about three miles south of Muse.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 37-year-old man from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was driving four passengers in his Volvo truck. All of the truck's passengers were from Columbus, Georgia. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated that its officers are unsure of what caused the crash and that they are continuing their accident investigation.

Following the deadly crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that one of the accident victims was transported to a Hot Springs hospital. That victim sustained head and internal torso injuries. He is listed as being in stable medical condition.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, all three boys were declared deceased at the scene of the accident. They sustained fatal internal torso injuries. Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that no occupants appeared to be wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The names of the accident victims have not yet been made public at this time. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is conducting its accident investigation, and this news story is still developing. This accident news story will be updated by reporters as new information becomes available. The area around the accident was closed down for several hours while emergency crews and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol handled the accident and assisted the injury victims.
