Man Killed in Tragic Atlanta Parking Lot Ticket Machine Accident

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - A news report published on wgauradio.com states that a man was tragically killed in a terrible "freak accident" involving a  parking lot ticket machine ticket in Atlanta, Georgia.*

The Atlanta Police Department was dispatched to the parking garage located off of Peachtree Street by Colony Square for an accident. As the police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man in his pickup truck at the ticket machine. Tragically, he was found deceased at the man passed away at the scene.

Police believe that the victim had driven past the parking lot's ticket machine and failed to put his truck into the "park" position as he opened the truck door to pay for his ticket. The victim's arm was then trapped. The victim got pinned between the ticket booth and the truck's door, which caused his death. No additional information was released, including the victim's identity.
