Two Tragically Killed in a Fatal Car Wreck in Sandersville, Georgia

SANDERSVILLE, GEORGIA - An auto accident news report published on 41nbc.com reports that two men were tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident in Washington County last Saturday night.*

According to the Georgia State Patrol's incident report, a man from Statham, Georgia, was driving in the wrong direction along Highway 88 when he collided with another motor vehicle that a man from Sandersville was operating. The accident incident report states the driver, who was driving against the lawful flow of traffic, had an open bottle of liquor in his vehicle.

The victim passed away at the accident scene, while the wrong-way driver passed away at a local area hospital on Sunday. The fatal wrong-way accident is currently under investigation. The Georgia State Patrol will continue its fatal motor vehicle accident investigation.
