Severe Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-20 West in Atlanta, Georgia
ATLANTA, GEORGIA - According to a news report published on CBS46.com, a severe motor vehicle accident involving several vehicles closed down several traffic lanes on Interstate 20 Westbound in Atlanta, Georgia.*
The interstate accident occurred last Wednesday at approximately 4:30 PM. The Georgia State Patrol reported that the multi-vehicle accident began when its troopers witnessed a stolen vehicle.
The driver of the stolen car allegedly made a U-turn, and as the Georgia State Patrol troopers activated their lights and the driver began driving west in the eastbound traffic lanes on Interstate 20. The suspect's car then crashed into two other vehicles, causing one of the motor vehicles to flip over. Six innocent people were injured in the accident. The suspect then ran away from the accident scene, and the driver was found at this time.
