Tragic Fatal SUV Accident on I-75 North in Macon, Georgia

MACON, GEORGIA - An accident news report published on states that the Macon-Bibb Coroner, Leon Jones, confirmed the identity of an accident victim who tragically passed away in the I-75 motor vehicle accident that happened last Saturday night.*

The victim, a 71-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the crash scene just after 10 PM. The Macon-Bibb Coroner states that the victim was trying to enter Hartley Bridge Road and head northbound on I-75 when suddenly he lost control of his motor vehicle. The victim's car then rolled over several times, resulting in life-threatening injuries. The crash occurred near the Hartley Bridge Road exit.

According to Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones, this was the sixteenth traffic fatality this year in Macon-Bibb County. Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley agreed that the accident victim lost control of his sports utility vehicle and that no other motor vehicles were involved in the crash. 

The driver's identity was released after the family was notified, according to Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley. This accident news story is still developing. The news report will be updated once more information about the motor vehicle accident has been released. 

The Macon-Bibb County Coroner's Office and local law enforcement will continue the fatal motor vehicle accident investigation. The area around the accident was closed down for several hours while emergency crews, the Macon-Bibb County Coroner's Office, and law enforcement offices managed the accident and tended to the victim. 

There were no additional details concerning the fatal accident have been released at this time.
