Tragic, Fatal Panel Truck Accident on Hawkinsville Road in Macon, Georgia

According to an accident report published on 13wmaz.com, a woman was tragically killed in a panel truck accident on Hawkinsville Road in Macon, Georgia.*

According to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office media release, a woman was heading southbound on Hawkinsville Road when she suddenly lost control of her vehicle. The Macon-Bibb Coroner identified the 39-year-old accident victim. She was from Warner Robins.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office deputies are currently investigating the two-vehicle wreck that occurred on Hawkinsville Road by its intersection with Rex Elder Boulevard. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release stated that the crash occurred at around 5:30 in the evening. The victim was driving southbound on Hawkinsville Road and crossed over into the northbound traffic lane, and struck a panel truck head-on. She was declared deceased at the accident scene by Bibb Coroner Leon Jones.

The panel truck received treatment treated by paramedics and was released from medical care at the accident scene.
