Tragic Fatal Accident on I-95 at the Georgia-South Carolina State Line

According to an accident news story published on wjcl.com, law enforcement officials stated that one person was tragically killed in a car accident on I-95 in Jasper County, Georgia.*

Three other people involved in the crash were injured. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at five o'clock in the morning. The accident report stated that the crash happened when a Nissan SUV crashed with a second vehicle as both vehicles were heading southbound. 

The SUV driver was tragically killed, and the occupants were transported to Savannah for medical treatment of accident-related injuries. The motor vehicle accident is currently under investigation. Law enforcement officials urged motorists to stay off of I-95 at the Georgia and South Carolina state line. 

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. According to SCDOT, all traffic lanes were blocked in the southbound traffic lanes. Law enforcement authorities stated that traffic would be affected for several hours.
