Tragic, Fatal Auto Accident in Gwinnett County, Georgia
GWINNETT COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report published on 11alive.com states that Gwinnett Police shut down a busy section of road in the northern part of Gwinnett County, Georgia, due to a severe car accident.*
The road was shut down in order to perform an accident reconstruction to determine how an accident tragically killed a man from Buford.
Police stated that a 50-year-old man was tragically killed in the accident on Braselton Highway between Hamilton Creek Parkway and Hamilton Mill Road. The road was closed last Monday at around 9:45 AM. The Gwinnett Police returned to that accident scene at 9:45 AM on August 8 for the accident reconstruction, and both directions of the road were closed.
Gwinnett Police did not supply any additional details on the accident but told the reporters that no criminal charges had been filed at this point and the investigation was still "active."
