Fatal Motorcyclist Versus Semi-Tractor-Trailer Truck Accident in Carroll County, Georgia

According to the Carrollton Police Department, their officers responded to an accident on the Bankhead Highway at Frasier Road at approximately 9:15 AM. The accident report states that the motorcycle driver was heading west on along the highway. The truck driver was heading in the opposite direction as the truck driver was making a left turn onto Frasier Road. The truck turned into the westbound traffic lanes and in front to the motorcycle. Both motor vehicles collided at this moment, police stated.
The motorcyclist was transported to Tanner Medical Center, where he tragically passed away due to his accident injuries. Police reported that the semi-truck driver was not harmed in the collision.
