Cleveland Man Tragically Killed in a Head-On collision on Highway 115

GEORGIA - A news report posted on nowhabersham.com states that a man from Cleveland, Georgia, was tragically killed in a severe head-on motor vehicle accident on Highway 115.*

According to the Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 6 in Gainesville, the head-on collision occurred in White County. According to the Georgia State Patrol report, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was heading west along GA 115 by Shenandoah Drive. A  Hyundai Elantra sedan, driven by the victim, was heading east along GA 115 by Shenandoah Drive. The Georgia State Patrol report stated that the Toyota Tacoma driver failed to maintain his traffic lane, crossed the highway's centerline, and crashed head-on with the Hyundai Elantra.

The Hyundai Elantra sedan driver was tragically killed and passed away at the motor vehicle accident scene. The driver of the Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was not hurt in the crash. Local law enforcement officials did not release drivers' names.

The Georgia State Patrol's Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT) is currently working on the accident investigation. There were no additional details about this head-on collision released to the public at this time. The fatal car accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement officials. Accident witnesses are asked to call the Georgia State Patrol's Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team to provide any useful information that they may have.
