Savannah Police Investigate a Moped Accident on Skidaway Road

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - According to an auto accident article published on wtoc.com, the Savannah Police Department has begun a moped accident investigation.*

The moped accident occurred on Skidaway Road in Savannah, Georgia. Savannah Police stated that its police officers responded to the accident at approximately 5:10 PM last Sunday. The crash occurred on Skidaway Road at Scott Drive and involved a moped and an SUV. 

The Savannah Police reported that the moped driver was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of severe accident-related injuries. However, the moped operator's injuries were non-life-threatening injuries. The circumstances that caused the moped accident are currently under investigation. 

The Savannah Police Department will conclude their accident investigation and issue a report to the public. The names of the people involved in the moped accident were not made public at this time. No criminal charges were reported at this time.
