Five Injured, One Tragically Killed in Catoosa County Car Accident

CATOOSA COUNTY, GEORGIA - An accident news report published on WDEF.com states that a fatal head-on collision occurred in Catoosa County, Georgia.*

The Georgia Highway Patrol stated that the fatal crash occurred at around 3:15 PM. The Georgia State Patrol responded to the accident, which occurred at 1875 Holcomb Road. Extreme damage occurred to both motor vehicles, but mainly to the Ford Mustang, which was totaled.

The Georgia States Patrol troopers ascertained that a 21-year-old man drove the Ford Mustang, and there were three other passengers, including two small children, in the sportscar. Their vehicle was heading eastbound when the vehicle crossed over the road's centerline and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram 2500. The Dodge Ram was being driven by a 38-year-old woman and was also occupied by an eight-year-old boy.

Georgia State Patrol states that the Ford Mustang driver tragically passed away in the accident. 

The Dodge Ram driver and its occupants all suffered non-life-threatening accident-related injuries and were taken to local area hospitals.
