Tragic, Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Monroe County, Georgia
MACON, GEORGIA - A 25-year-old man from Macon, Georgia, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident with an SUV in Monroe County, Georgia.*
The motorcycle crash occurred at around 8:30 in the morning and occurred in the 10,000 block section of Zebulon Road. According to a news release issued by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the motorcyclist was heading westbound along Zebulon Road.
The motorcycle accident news report states that the motorcycle crashed into the front of the SUV. The SUV was heading eastbound prior to the collision. According to the report, the SUV driver was attempting to make a left-hand turn into a driveway. The SUV driver then pulled out into the traffic lane of the approaching motorcyclist. Tragically, the motorcyclist was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
The motorcycle accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement. No criminal charges were reported at this time. There was no additional information about the motorcycle accident and those involved released to the public at this time.
