Driver Thrown from Vehicle, Several Injured in Multi-vehicle Crash in DeKalb County, Georgia
DEKALB COUNTY, GEORGIA - An accident article published on wsbtv.com states that several people were seriously injured in a car accident involving several vehicles last Sunday night.*
The DeKalb Police reported their law enforcement officers were called to an accident scene that happened at Memorial Drive and Village Square Drive.
When the Dekalb Police arrived at the accident scene, they discovered four motor vehicles with four accident victims who needed medical treatment. Police officers investigating the accident reported that three of the motor vehicles were heading east on Memorial Drive when the accident occurred. The incident caused two of the motor vehicles to lose control and cross traffic lanes into traffic that was heading in the opposite direction, striking the fourth motor vehicle.
The fourth vehicle overturned several times, and the vehicle's driver was thrown from the vehicle.
One person is listed in critical medical condition, and the other three victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the police, there are no additional details to report at this time. The crash is under investigation. No criminal charges have been reported at this time.
