Tragic Fatal Rollover Accident on I-20 in Atlanta, Georgia

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - According to an accident news story published on cbs46.com, eight people were seriously injured, and another accident victim was tragically killed in an auto accident on Interstate 20 in Atlanta, Georgia.*

The motor vehicle accident occurred early Tuesday morning. The Dekalb County police reported that the crash happened before 4:15 in the morning. Law enforcement and emergency medical services were dispatched to Interstate-20 West by Wesley Chapel Road.

Law enforcement accident investigators stated that the driver suddenly lost control of his car. The car then flipped over and went down an embankment. One of the accident victims was transported to the hospital and is in critical medical condition. The other seven injury victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. 

According to law enforcement officers who were at the accident scene, there were nine people riding in the car at the time of the crash. The tragic motor vehicle accident is currently under investigation. No reports of criminal charges or names of those involved have been made public at this time.
