Two Severe Traffic Accidents Occur in Marietta, Georgia

The pedestrian was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The pedestrian crash investigation is continuing, and witnesses with helpful information are being asked to contact the Marietta Police Department.
The second motor vehicle crash took place along I-75 South at Allgood Road. The crash happened last Sunday night at approximately 7:32 AM. The report states that a 59-year-old man from Marietta was heading south toward the Allgood Road overpass in a Nissan Sentra. According to the accident investigators, the man failed to maintain his traffic lane, left the road, and collided with the median wall head-on. His accident-related injuries were life-threatening, and he was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. The accident investigation is ongoing.
