Tragic, Fatal Car Crash on Johnstonville Road in Monroe County
MONROE COUNTY, GEORGIA - According to several news reports, including 13wmaz.com, a man was tragically killed in a single-vehicle accident in Monroe County, Georgia.*
The Georgia State Patrol reported that the fatal accident occurred on Johnstonville Road close to Harmony Hill Ranch Road. Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 44 Forsyth responded to the fatal accident. The initial investigation indicates that the driver was heading eastbound along Johnstonville Road when his vehicle left the road and crashed into a wood fence post. The motor vehicle then flipped over and ejected the driver.
The driver involved in the accident was identified as a 35-year-old man. He was tragically pronounced dead at the accident scene. No other motor vehicles or occupants were involved in the crash.
