Tragic, Fatal Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-95 by Fayetteville

An accident news article published on wral.com states that an adult and a child were tragically killed in a severe tractor-trailer truck accident on Interstate-95 last Thursday morning.*

The trucking accident shut down all of the northbound traffic lanes for several hours. The accident caused miles of backed-up traffic.

A Department of Public Safety spokesperson reported that an adult and a child were tragically killed in the trucking accident. No additional information was made available. The fatal crash was reported at around 4 AM, shutting down I-95 by the  N.C. Highway 87 exit. The truck driver was hauling the vegetables. 

The truck accident was very serious and the truck's cabin was completely smashed. The road reopened at around 7 AM. However, however traffic was backed up for one hour. The trucking accident is currently under investigation by local law enforcement.
