Tragic, Semi-Truck Driver Dies in an I-88 Accident in Hart County, Georgia
HART COUNTY, GEORGIA - According to foxcarolina.com, a semi-truck driver tragically passed away in an Interstate-88 accident by Mile Marker 177.*
According to the Hart County Sheriff's Office, the truck driver traveled off the roadway and into the woods. The truck then caught on fire.
Hart County Sheriff Cleveland stated the truck driver was inside the 18-wheeler when the truck caught on fire. Fire rescue crews attempted to remove the driver as they battled the flames. The cause of the vehicle accident and subsequent fire is not known at this time. The fatal truck accident is currently under investigation. No additional details concerning the fatal trucking accident have been released at this time.
