Tragic, Fatal Motorcycle Crash in DeKalb County, Georgia

DeKALB COUNTY - According to an online news report published on whnt.com, a fatal motorcycle accident tragically killed a Georgia woman. The crash occurred near Fort Payne.*

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency troopers reported that the motorcycle accident occurred at around 3 PM last Friday. Law enforcement officers stated that the victim, a 53-year-old woman from Calhoun, Georgia, was fatally injured in an accident as a rider on the motorcycle that crashed. 

The news report states that the motorcycle left the road and then flipped over. The victim was air evacuated to a local area hospital, where she tragically passed away a few days later. The operator of the motorcycle was not harmed in the crash. 

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency stated that the motorcycle accident transpired along County Road 255 by 256, a few miles south of Fort Payne. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently investigating the motorcycle accident. No additional crash details were provided by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency at this time.
