Georgia Woman Tragically in Killed a DeKalb County Motorcycle Accident

GEORGIA - According to an online news article published on weisradio.com, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a media release concerning a severe motorcycle accident last Friday in DeKalb County.*

At approximately 3:00 PM, a 53-year-old woman from Calhoun, Georgia, was severely injured in the crash. The news report states that a Harley Davidson motorcycle that the victim was riding tragically left the road and crashed. 

The motorcycle accident victim was transported from the accident scene by helicopter medevac to a local area hospital for emergency medical treatment. However, she tragically died due to the severity of her injuries.

Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey reported that the motorcycle accident occurred on DeKalb County Road 255, about five miles south of Fort Payne. That fatal motorcycle accident is currently under investigation by Georgia State Patrol troopers.
