Pensacola Boy Critically Injured in an ATV Accident on Maxwell Street
According to an accident news report posted on PNJ.com, a 10-year-old boy from Pensacola was critically injured in a motor vehicle accident last Monday afternoon on Maxwell Street.*
The accident report states that an ATV driven that was being operated by a 16-year-old Pensacola boy was heading eastbound along Maxwell Street. As the ATV approached the intersection of Maxwell Street and North T Street, a sedan struck the ATV.
The accident news report states that a 40-year-old Pensacola woman was driving the sedan that collided with the ATV. According to the report, the ATV driver failed to obey an intersection stop sign and drove through the intersection. The ATV then crashed into the sedan's front right side. Following the collision, the ATV crashed into a utility pole.
The 10-year-old passenger on the ATV sustained critical accident injuries, and the 16-year-old ATV driver also suffered serious accident-related injuries. The accident is currently under investigation, and the report states that criminal charges are pending.
