27 People Injured in an I-95 Bus Rollover Accident in Kingsville, Maryland
Kingsville, Maryland – According to a news report published on wsbradio.com, 27 people sustained accident-related injuries last Sunday during a bus rollover accident on I 95 just north of the city of Baltimore, Maryland.*
The Baltimore County fire department stated that the accident occurred near Kingsville, Maryland, at around 7 o’clock in the morning. The bus was being operated by Megabus and was transporting 47 passengers. Law-enforcement officials stated that 15 of the 27 passengers who were injured were transported to local area hospitals for medical treatment.
The news report states that no other motor vehicles were involved in the bus accident. The severe bus accident is currently being investigated by the Maryland State Police, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. According to an email
written by Megabus spokesperson Dan Rodriguez, The bus driver was among the 15 passengers taken to local area hospitals for medical treatment. He also stated that many of the injured had been released and were provided with transportation to the final destination. Megabus will be conducting its own thorough investigation of the incident, and the company did not provide any additional comments concerning the bus crash.
