Three Students Tragically Killed in a Car Accident by Henry County High School
According to an online accident news report published on ajc.com, three Eagle's Landing High School students were tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident.* The tragic accident also injured two other Eagle's Landing High School students. The police accident report states that the tragic crash was a single-vehicle accident.
The crash occurred by the Henry County high school at around 3:15 PM at the intersection of Oak Grove Circle and Oak Grove Road. The single-vehicle accident occurred about one mile from Eagle's Landing High School, where the accident victims were enrolled as high school students.
Henry Police Spokesperson Captain Randy Lee released the names of the three children who were lost in the tragic motor vehicle accident. The Henry County County Coroner identified the students who lost their lives in the crash.
Two of the accident survivors were transported to local area hospitals for treatment of serious injuries. Law enforcement authorities did not report what caused the accident.
Henry County Schools issued a statement that says, "We are saddened to confirm the tragic passing of three of our Eagle's Landing High School students this afternoon in a car accident. Our condolences go out to these students' families during this extremely difficult time."
The high school has social workers and counselors at the high school to support grieving students and staff. The school district is asking everyone to keep the families and community in their thoughts.
