Tragic, Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon, Georgia

MACON, GEORGIA - According to an accident story posted on 13wmaz.com, a man was tragically killed in a hit-and-run collision on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon, Georgia.*

A media release issued by Macon-Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones stated that the fatal pedestrian accident transpired after 10 PM in the 2800 block area of Pio Nono Avenue. The victim was identified as a 61-year-old man from Macon.

According to a media release issued by the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the 61-year-old victim was walking across Pio Nono Avenue when a white sedan struck him. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office states that the driver of the white sedan did not stop at the scene of the crash. Bibb County Sheriff's Office deputies stated that the front of the sedan would have extensive damage. Anyone who has information on the hit-and-run is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
