Tragic, Fatal Embry Farms Propane Accident in Putnam County, Georgia

EATONTON, GEORGIA - According to an online accident news report published on 41nbc.com, a farm fire in Putnam County tragically killed a man.*

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and firefighters responded to an emergency telephone call concerning a fire and propane explosion that happened at around 7 AM.  The propane explosion occurred at the Embry Farms, located along Old Pheonix Road, close to Highway 44.

Law enforcement authorities arrived at the scene and discovered a propane fire in a shipping container.  The fire department put out the fire and tragically discovered a 74-year-old man's body.  The victim was the owner of Embry Farms.

The accident scene evidence has led investigators to believe that there was a propane explosion and fire.  However, there didn't appear to be foul play.  The incident is currently under investigation.  No further details about the propane explosion have been released at this time.
