Georgia Woman Tragically Dies in a Severe Motor Vehicle Accident in Alabama

According to an accident news article published on wrganews.com, a fatal car accident occurred last Thursday morning along Highway 278 by County Road 753 in Cherokee County, Alabama.*

The accident victim was a woman from Buford, Georgia.  The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency stated that the victim, a 62-year-old woman, was a passenger in a Toyota Camry that hit a tree lying on the road.  The car then left the roadway and crashed. 

The victim and the 65-year-old male driver were transported to Gadsden Regional Hospital, where the female tragically passed away due to her accident-related injuries.  No additional information about the condition of the driver was released.  

The car accident report states that the crash transpired about six miles east of Piedmont.  The news report states that another motor vehicle was involved in a crash close to the initial wreck.  

Several trees had been knocked down due to the saturated ground and high winds.  The car accident is currently under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division.
