Pedestrian Struck By a Vehicle on I-75 in Marietta, Georgia

MARIETTA, GEORGIA - According to an accident news story published on patch.com, a pedestrian was tragically struck while walking in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75.*

A law enforcement incident report states that the collision occurred near Windy Hill Road and occurred last Tuesday morning.  The collision happened at around eight in the morning. 

All traffic lanes around the collision were closed down so that law enforcement could investigate the incident. The victim was transported to Kennestone Hospital, and the victim is listed in critical medical condition.

The accident news report will be updated when additional details become available.  The incident is currently under investigation by law enforcement officers.  No criminal charges have been reported in the collision.
