Three People Tragically Injured in a Lee County Accident

LEESBURG, GEORGIA - A news report published on states that three people were seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident in Lee County, Georgia.*

The car accident occurred late Tuesday morning, according to David Forrester, the Lee County Fire Chief.  The accident happened along Highway 19 South by Cedric Street.  The accident involved three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer truck.

According to Lee County Chief Deputy Lewis Harris, all northbound traffic along the interstate was blocked except for one traffic lane heading southbound.  The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating the motor vehicle accident. This is accident is a developing story and the Georgia State Patrol will update the community as more details become available.
