Tragic, Fatal Head-on Car Accident on Highway 301 in Tattnall County, Georgia

TATTNALL COUNTY, GEORGIA - According to an online accident news article on wjcl.com, two women were tragically killed in a head-on car accident in Tattnall County, Georgia.*

The fatal car crash occurred last Monday evening along Highway 301.  The Georgia State Patrol reported that a woman was driving along Highway 301 and suddenly sideswiped an 18-wheeler and then collided with an SUV that was behind her motor vehicle.

According to Georgia State Patrol, two women tragically died as a result of the accident.  The semi-truck driver was not injured in the collision.  An accident investigation is currently under investigation. 

One of the accident victims was identified as a Claxton High School teacher, according to the Evans County Charter School System superintendent.  The superintendent gave a public statement concerning the tragedy.  He announced the name of the teacher who tragically passed away.  He also stated that there were no other details at this time.
