Tragic, Fatal Car Accident on GA-4 in South Atlanta, Georgia
SOUTH ATLANTA, GEORGIA - According to an online news report published on Macon.com, teenage teen sisters tragically died in a motor vehicle accident with a tractor-trailer truck, Georgia officials reported.*
The Georgia State Patrol's news release report states that the older sister was driving a Saturn sedan when it turned into the path of an 18-wheeler truck. The driver of the Saturn and its passenger both tragically passed away due to their accident-related injuries. Georgia State Patrol troopers identified the girls.
The Georgia State Patrol reported that they responded to the fatal crash at about 4:15 p.m. The accident scene occurred on GA-4, also called U.S. Highway 1, and about 180 miles southeast from Atlanta. A section of the highway by Five Points Road was closed down. Georgia State troopers' news release did not reveal the medical condition of the semi-truck driver. The collision is currently under investigation. No additional information has been provided at this time.
