Fatal Car Accident on Graham Road in Gray, Georgia
GRAY, GEORGIA - According to an online accident news report published on 13wmaz.com, the Jones County Sheriff's Office reported that their agency is currently investigating a tragic, fatal motor vehicle accident.*
The fatal crash fatally injured a 26-year-old and injured two passengers. The accident victim was an 11-year-old child. Accident investigators stated that the 11-year-old was air evacuated from the accident scene and transported to Children's Egleston in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jones County Deputy Coroner Wayne Grier reported that the two-car crash occurred along Graham Road at approximately 8:45 PM.
Lieutenant Kenny Allen stated that the driver, a 26-year-old, was operating his Honda Civic along Graham Road when he crossed the center line and struck a Buick Le Sabre head-on for some unknown reason. The Honda Civic ramped up an embankment and then crashed into some trees. The driver tragically passed away at the accident scene.
The third passenger inside the Buick Le Sabre, a woman, is expected to recover. The fatal motor vehicle accident is currently under investigation. No additional information was provided at this time.
