Two Tragically Killed in an Accident in Warner Robins, Georgia

WARNER ROBINS, GEORGIA - According to an online news report posted on, the Georgia State Patrol identified two people who were tragically killed in a Houston County accident last Friday.*

The crash occurred in Warner Robins, Georgia. The Warner Robins Police stated that their police officers attempted to stop on a Jeep Cherokee for failing to maintain its traffic lane. However, the Jeep Cherokee raced off, leading to a police pursuit along Russell Parkway at around one o'clock in the morning. 

Georgia State Patrol reported that the driver, 48-year-old Warner Robins man, suddenly lost control, crossed all lanes along Russell Parkway, and then struck a utility pole. The Jeep Cherokee then overturned. Both the driver and his passenger, a 28-year-old Byron woman, were tragically killed in the collision.

No additional information about the motor vehicle accident was reported by law enforcement investigators at this time. Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the tragic, fatal crash.
