Motorcycle Accident on Interstate-75 in Atlanta, Georgia (GA)
ATLANTA, GEORGIA - A news story posted on fox5atlanta.com reports that a 23-year-old man is recovering from a severe motorcycle accident on I-75 in Atlanta, Georgia.*
The motorcycle accident nearly took the biker's life, and he is slowly recovering from severe injuries. The accident occurred on Interstate 75 close to the Cleveland Avenue exit at around six in the morning. According to the Atlanta Police accident report, the motorcycle was struck by a car.
The motorcyclist's mother said that she had received the call that no mother wants to ever receive. She learned that her son was involved in a severe motorcycle accident. She stated that her son had slowed down and moved into the HOV lane due to heavy rain and that was he was struck by a car.
The motorcyclist was transported to Grady Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was moved into the hospital's ICU with serious injuries from head to toe. The accident victim was given several blood transfusions, and physicians worked hard to save the man's right leg.
