Passenger Tragically Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Hamilton County, Georgia
HAMILTON COUNTY, FLORIDA - According to an online news article published on wtxl.com, one woman was tragically killed in a car accident along County Road 135 just south of SE 94 Street in Hamilton County, Florida.*
An accident report published by the Florida Highway Patrol states that the fatal crash occurred at around 12:30 in the morning last Wednesday. The report states that a two-door sedan was heading south on County Road 135.
The news report states that as the vehicle driver was trying to drive along a curve to the right, the driver oversteered. The vehicle then traveled onto a grass shoulder, struck the ditch, then crashed its right side into a tree, killing the passenger.
The passenger, a 28-year-old Branford woman, was tragically declared dead at the accident scene. The 27-year-old driver, a Lake City man, was taken to UF Health hospital in Gainesville. He sustained critical injuries. The accident is currently under investigation.
