Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision in Monroe County, Georgia

According to an online news story posted on leader-call.com, a Georgia nursing student was tragically struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision.  The accident occurred in Monroe County, Georgia last Saturday afternoon.*  Law enforcement authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver.  

The 30-year-old female victim tragically died at the scene of the collision.  The crash occurred on Interstate 75 in Monroe County, Georgia.

The report states that at approximately 2:31 in the afternoon, a silver Toyota car crossed over into the opposite traffic lanes and collided head on with the victim's car, according to a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office's press release.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help with the case.  The fatal collision is currently under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
