Fatal Car Accident on Interstate-85 in in Gwinnett County, Georgia

GWINNETT COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report posted on cbs46.com states that emergency rescue crews were called to a severe, fatal car accident on Interstate 85 North close to mile marker 124.*

According to the Gwinnett County Police, young child was tragically killed in the motor vehicle accident.  The age of the child has not be made public at this time.  All northbound traffic lanes along I-85 in the area were redirected as traffic lanes were closed until further notice.  All interstate traffic was rerouted to the Hamilton Mill exit. 

The Gwinnett Police Accident Investigation Unit is currently leading the fatal accident investigation.  No other details were provided at this time.
