Multi-vehicle Crash on I-185 Southbound by St. Marys Road in Columbus, Georgia

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA - A news report published on wtvm.com states that all traffic lanes of Interstate 185 Southbound by St. Marys Road were shut down due to a motor vehicle accident.*

The Georgia Department of Transportation reported that the crash was a multiple-vehicle collision.  The preliminary accident report states that the injuries have not been reported at this time. 

The motor vehicle accident was cleared in around one hour.  All motorists were asked to find other routes around the multi-vehicle accident.  The car accident on Interstate 185 is currently under investigation.  There were no reports of criminal charges being filed.  The cause of the accident is not known at this time.
