Six People Hurt When a Car Crashed Through an Indianapolis AT&T Store
INDIANAPOLIS - Six people were injured and taken to various local area hospitals after a car crashed into an AT&T store located at the 4300 block of Lafayette Road at around 4 PM according to PEOPLE.COM.
The news report states that some of the injured people were employees.
The accident occured when the car was parked in front of the business and the driver's foot may have accidently slipped and hit the gas pedal causing the accident. The driver, a woman in a Toyota RAV4, fled the accident scene. However, she was taken into police custody. She has been called a person of interest, and she is not considered a suspect at this time.
The preliminary accident report suggests that all victims were inside the retail store at the time of the accident. The crash is currently under investigation by law enforcement.
