Tragic, Fatal Two-Car Accident in White County, Georgia
WHITE COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report published on nowhabersham.com states that a woman from Dahlonega was tragically killed in a two-car accident in White County.*
According to Georgia State Patrol Post 6 Corporal J.W. Stamey the severe crash was called in at around 7:10 AM. The crash occurred just south of Cleveland along Georgia Highway 75.
The investigating Georgia State Patrol trooper stated that a 64-year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to exit a private road when the woman failed to yield oncoming traffic on Highway 75. Her vehicle was hit in the driver's side door by a Chevrolet Silverado that was being driven by 33-year old man from Clermont.
The Georgia State Patrol states that woman was fatally injured injured in the accident.
The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado was tragically injured as well as the two youth who were riding in the woman's vehicle. White County EMS took all of the accident victims to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. The accident is currently under investigation.
