Deadly Accident Tragically Kills a Man's Pregnant Fiancé and Her Child
JONESBORO, GEORGIA - A news article published on cbs46.com reports that a man from Union City continues to recover mentally and physically from a severe crash.*
The man, his fiancé, and her 8-year-old son were traveling along Highway 138 at Scott Road. According to Clayton County Police, first responders were attempting to wake up a man who was inside his truck and slumped over. The driver allegedly woke up and then sped off.
According to the victim, he did not remember that the truck hit his vehicle head-on. He stated that he only remembers waking up in the hospital, and he didn't have any memory of what transpired. He sustained G.I. issues, broken ribs, and a broken femur. His pregnant fiancé and his fiancé's eight-year-old child were tragically killed in the crash.
Law enforcement stated that the truck driver did not survived the accident. The fatal accident is currently under investigation. No further information has been released at this time.
