Motorcyclist Tragically Killed in Stephens County Motorcycle Accident
STEPHENS COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report posted on nowhabersham.com states that the Georgia State Patrol has named the motorcyclist who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident last Saturday in Stephens County, Georiga.*
The victim was identified as a 49-year-old man of Seneca, South Carolina. The motorcyclist was fatally injured after his Harley Davidson ran off of the road, hit a curb, and then overturned.
Georgia State Patrol Post 7 in Toccoa was summoned to the accident. The motorcycle accident occurred along GA 17 at Whispering Pines. The victim's tragic death was the first fatal accident in Northeast Georgia over the Thanksgiving weekend.
The Georgia Highway Patrol is currently investigating the motorcycle accident.
