Tragic, Fatal Drunk Driving Accident in Johnston County, North Carolina
CLAYTON, NORTH CAROLINA - A news story published on cbs17.com reports that a woman from Clayton was tragically killed in a car accident in Johnston County, North Carolina.* The North Carolina State Highway Patrol stated that the fatal car crash occurred last Saturday night.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred prior to midnight and happened along Buffalo Road near Fletcher Road. The victim, a 32-year-old woman was heading southbound on Buffalo Road in her Jeep. The report states that the woman's Jeep left the roadway and struck a ditch. The Jeep then crashed into a driveway and then overturned.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol stated that the woman was allegedly driving while intoxicated at the time of the accident. There were no other accident victims.
