One Person is Injured in Rural Car Accident Near Beatrice, Nebraska

November 17, 2021

BEATRICE –  A news story published on states that a severe motor vehicle accident occurred around six miles northwest of Beatrice.*  Law officers and EMS crews were dispatched to the serious motor vehicle accident at approximately 11:15 am.

The accident report states that a car drove off of the north side of West Hickory Road.  The car then overturned onto the passenger's side.  Two Beatrice Fire and Rescue ambulances were dispatched the accident scene.  Both the Beatrice Rural Fire and the Plymouth Fire assisted in the accident.

The Beatrice Fire Captain reported that one person was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital for emergency medical treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  

The Gage County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the car accident that occurred east of the West Hickory and Southwest 117th Road intersection.

According to one deputy investigating the accident, a woman was driving east when she lost control of her car on the loose gravel.  The deputy stated that the other driver failed to stop.  However, police stated the other driver may not have seen the accident.
