Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on the Westbound Intercounty Connector in Aspen Hill, Maryland

ASPEN HILL, MARYLAND - A news report published on wjla.com states that a pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday morning in Aspen Hill, Maryland.*

According to the report, the fatal pedestrian collision happened on the westbound Intercounty Connector (ICC)/MD 200 at about 3:20 in the morning.  The Maryland Transportation Authority Police stated that the pedestrian, an unknown man, tragically passed away from his injuries at the accident scene.

Local law enforcement officials stated that the crash reconstruction concluded that the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian never stopped and fled the accident scene. 

Law enforcement investigators are searching for a gray or silver vehicle that will have some front-end damage.  If anyone has information about the collision, they can call the Maryland Transportation Authority Police.  The fatal pedestrian collision is currently under investigation.
