Fatal Drunk Driving Motorcycle Accident in Warner Robins, Georgia
WARNER ROBINS, GEORGIA - A news report published on 41nbc.com states that the Warner Robins Police Department issued a media release reporting a fatal accident that occurred on Moody Road.*
According to the press release, the accident occurred at approximately 6:30 in the evening and involved a motorcyclist.
The report states that a motorcyclist was heading north along Moody Road when a Chevrolet Tahoe tried to make a left turn onto Moody Road. The motorcycle then hit the driver-side rear quarter-panel of the Tahoe.
The motorcycle driver, a 31-year-old man from Warner Robins, was tragically pronounced deceased at the accident scene. The Chevrolet Tahoe driver, a 67-year-old man from Kathleen, is allegedly charged with DUI and driving under a suspended license.
According to the report, speeding and alcohol were factors in the fatal accident. Law enforcement is continuing to investigate the accident. Witnesses of the accident are asked to come forward and provide any information by contacting the Macon Regional Crimestoppers.
