Two School Buses in an Accident on Highway 127 in Houston County, Georgia

HOUSTON COUNTY - A news article posted on 41nbc.com reports that the Houston County School District provided a statement concerning an accident involving two Houston County school buses.*

The bus accident occurred at Highway 127 and Old Perry Road.  Another motor vehicle was also involved in the collision. 

Houston County School transportation personnel and administration responded to the accident quickly.  The students involved in the accident were either picked up by their parents or were transported back to the school on a bus. 

The article stated that the first school bus was stopped along Highway 127 to pick up a child at around 8:00 in the morning.  A car was stopped behind the first bus.  A second bus driving rear-ended the car, which struck the first bus.  The accident is currently under investigation.
