Fatal Pedestrian Collision on Houston Road in Macon, Georgia

MACON, GEORGIA - A news article published on 41nbc.com reports that a woman was tragically killed last Friday night after she was struck by a car.*  

The pedestrian-car collision occurred on Houston Road in Macon, Georgia.  The news article states that the collision occurred at around 8:45 PM.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office reported that the victim, a 47-year-old woman, was walking toward the Jumbo Gas Station near the Magnolia Court Motel.  She was declared deceased at the fatal accident scene by Lonnie Miley, the Bibb County Deputy Coroner. 

No criminal charges were filed at this time. According to the news article, the pedestrian collision is being investigated, and no additional information was released at this time.
