Motorcyclist Tragically Killed on the Epps Bridge Parkway Ramp in Athens, Georgia

The motorcycle accident occurred last Sunday night in Athens, Georgia around 9:30 in the evening.
Police state that the motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man, was riding his Yamaha MT-03 motorcycle along the Epps Bridge Parkway ramp. Suddenly, the motorcycle left the lane and hit a concrete bridge guardrail. Tragically, the motorcyclist flew over the guardrail and landed on the shoulder of Atlanta Highway. Tragically, the motorcyclist died at the accident scene.
The Athens-Clarke County Police are urging witnesses to come forward. Law enforcement officers are trying to ascertain who or what caused the motorcycle accident. The report states that this is the 23rd fatal accident this year in Athens-Clarke County.
